 VertexRSI's
family of 2.4-meter mobile and flyaway antennas are meeting the
communications needs of military and homeland defense customers.
The lightweight antennas, designed
for worldwide transmit and receive operations, provide exceptionally
low sidelobe and cross polarization performance well within INTELSAT
and EUTELSAT requirements.

2.4-meter mobile, flyaway and motorized flyaway antennas offer
economical and flexible high performance transmit and receive
capability in an easy-to-move and deploy system. The flyaway and
motorized flyaway units are transported in ruggedized containers and
can be set up within minutes. The 2.4-meter mobile unit comes in
three-reflector segments or a single-reflector option.
Interchangeable feeds allow users to change frequency bands in the
field within minutes."
The 2.4 meter mobile and flyaway
antennas operate under C, X, Ku and Ka bands. The 2.4-meter
motorized flyaway antenna operates under C, X and Ku bands.
Each of the 2.4-meter antennas is
made from aluminum, or aluminum/carbon fiber construction giving the
antenna a lightweight, precise surface, with high stiffness for
field use or vehicle mounting.
