New System Analyzer from General Dynamics Combines Several Instruments into One Lightweight Box. See it at Booth 1634!

General Dynamics SATCOM Technologies will introduce its new R8000 communications system analyzer February 27 at IWCE 2008. The new analyzer will highlight product displays in General Dynamics’ booth #1634.

Ed Mick, Sales Manager for SATCOM Technologies' Communications Test Equipment business, said, "The R8000 portable communications system analyzer provides bench-top power in a fully portable instrument. The new R8000 includes the functionality of more than 16 communication test instruments combined in one compact, lightweight, unit. Designed for portability, the R8000 weighs just 14-pounds and can be set-up for remote operations, communicating and controlling the analyzer through its standard Ethernet port."

The New R8000 Communications System Analyzer includes these features:

  • High performance spectrum analyzer with noise floor below -120dBm
  • Optional 3GHz operation (generate and receive)
  • Unique "Dual Display" shows spectrum analyzer and modulation scope simultaneously
